We start our fall journeys on the day after Labor Day to avoid a lot of extra traffic. We are so happy that our friends Jerry and Kathy are joining us for the first few days of our New England tour. We met at the Walmart in Ephrata this morning to start our journey with beautiful heading for Plymouth, Massachusetts.
I'm glad that our friends suggested a stop overnight at a Cracker Barrel in Milford, Connecticut before going to our 3 night camping destination at Massasoit State Park in Taunton, Massachusetts. It was a 4 1/2 hour drive today which wasn't bad considering the amount of traffic there is around New York City. Arrived at 1:00. Lunch, rest, a little walk and then dinner at Cracker Barrel.
Walmart and Cracker Barrel today -- looking forward to more scenic stops ahead!
Overnight parking lot camping at it's finest.

Thanks for posting your trip! Hi to Jerry and Kathy! Enjoying your posts😊
Thanks Laurie! Nice to hear that you're enjoying the posts. I'll tell Jerry and Kathy hello for you. They left 2 days ago -- Saturday morning. They wanted to travel the whole way but had to get back to care for Kathy's dad.
Check out the post yesterday about the granite quarry and Rockport! Both really great experiences!
